Overview
Seton Market Street D1 was delivered under a tight schedule, with lower levels being completed while work continued on upper levels. This required careful coordination to ensure each level was fully finished and ready for turnover without slowing overall progress.
Range Scope
Range delivered a turnkey framing package including floor and roof systems, prefabricated walls, stairs, material supply, and labour.
What Made This Project Unique
The project required each level to be fully completed and QA/QC checked while construction continued above.
Ledcor’s window and door opening design also required sloped sill plates to manage water, which Range prefabricated in its shop.
Challenges
-
Tight schedule
-
Overlapping work between production and completion phases
-
Requirement to fully complete and QA/QC each level before turnover
How Range Delivered
Range introduced a dedicated QA/QC crew as soon as the first level was completed. This allowed one team to focus on finishing and inspection, while the main production crew continued framing upper levels.
Prefabrication was used to produce consistent sloped sill plates and other components. Layout accuracy was maintained using the Hilti Total Station.
